If you have made it here, I presume you are unsatisfied with how the entries we have salvaged have concluded.

We understand this feeling, we feel it as well.

But, as unfortunate as it may be, we have been unable to salvage any more data from that device.

It is truly tragic, however. There are so many mysteries left unsolved, so many questions unanswered, so much intrigue left to explore.

Off the top of our heads, we can think of several:

What of the dark world December created?

What of the being from the Depths?

What did Chara and the Doctor do once they discovered December’s dark world?

What of the Vessel?

What of December herself?

What of the Salesman? How did he become what we know of him today?

What of Alvin?

What of the Roaring?

Etc.

Sadly, we are unable to answer these questions. As we said, those were all the files that were on the device we found.

We suppose that is another one of those lingering mysteries for you, isn’t it? How have we found this strange device from the Doctor?

Who are we?

Who are these “Editors”?

Can we be trusted?

We can answer the former, but the latter is for you to decide.

Who we are is neither important, nor unimportant.

All you need to know is that we thrive in the spaces between, what one might call “Liminal Spaces”.

That is how we came across these recordings, and also how we manage to communicate with you.

From the oft overlooked and forgotten corners we speak, only taking center stage when sought out.

Just as you are doing right now.

Now, it is our turn to ask you the questions.

Why have you come to peek in this dark space between?

We have a feeling we know the answer.

It is as we said.

You hunger for more. You do not want to accept this end.

But why?

Well we find the answer quite simple.

You have become attached to the people presented in these recordings.

You care about them and their journeys.

But there is nothing we can do.
